Board Meeting Summary

Glen Ellyn School District 41

July 6, 2022 Regular Board Meeting

The Board of Education provides a "Board Meeting Summary" after each Board meeting. The summary includes a brief description of the main topics and action items. These summaries are not meant to replace minutes. The minutes for each meeting are approved and posted after the next regularly scheduled meeting. We hope these summaries provide some basic information and context around the reports, presentations and action items. Reports

Superintendent’s Report | watch

Dr. Kaczkowski shared that we are working to bring additional mental health support to our students and families. She gave an update about a new partnership with Chestnut Health to provide virtual counseling during the school day to students who are in need of mental health support. This new counseling service is not required and only provided in consultation with families. This would be free of charge to families who request it. The district is on track to start providing this service during the 2022/23 school year.
