From Tim: Small Moments

Dear Families,

One of the fall highlights for me every year is inviting groups of K-1-2 students, half a class at a time, to my office for lunch. Though the furniture and carpet might be a bit worse for wear, it’s such a pleasure to simply spend time getting to know our new students and welcoming first and second graders back for a return trip. You might think we’d take the opportunity to discuss important things like our school’s strategic priorities or how the endowment’s faring. Mostly we just enjoy lunch together and then break into an impromptu concert with banjo and drums.

I often say it’s the small moments that count; after all it’s the small moments that make up the big picture of our lives. This is certainly one of the bright moments for me!

All the best,
