Welcome Back
Welcome to the 2019/2020 school year
Dear Viking Family,
Welcome to the 2019/2020 school year. The entire administrative team, Monique Luke, Assistant Principal; Aaron Harkey, Assistant Principal, and I, look forward to greeting you and to an exciting year at Montgomery.
I hope you're all taking time to relax and enjoy friends/family. We are currently preparing for our first staff meeting and thought it a good idea to collect photos of staff having fun this summer, and show the slide show at the first staff meeting.
It's a great way for new staff members to be introduced to the Viking Family community and we're hoping it will prompt people to ask questions about others and to share about themselves. If you're willing, please share a photo of yourself having fun (ie, camping, surfing, gardening, cycling, hammocking :) this summer. Feel free to include a caption/description.
Please send it (photo) by August 1, to mluke@srcs.k12.ca.us
Also thinking about using the pictures along with department pictures in the grade level presentations to build community with the student body. We want students to know the names and faces of every adult on campus.
In anticipation of the start of the year, please read the following schedule of events carefully:
Wednesday and Thursday, August 7th & 8th - Orientation days for students.
