Volunteer Opportunities

Want to get involved with the PTO this year? Fill in the online volunteer form and you will be contacted at the appropriate time. If you are like most of us and have a schedule that changes weekly and can’t commit to a specific committee, feel free to mark “Help PTO as needed” (specify during school hours and/or evening hours) and you will be contacted as needs arise and then you can decide if you are able to help at that time.

Any questions, please contact elainekerr321@gmail.com. Thank you for your consideration!

PTO Projects

The PTO is now accepting project requests.

We are committed to supporting the SHS community and we want to help meet your needs. We have $10,000 budgeted to cover project grants this year. We will review project requests only one time this year. Per PTO bylaws, requests must be for one time needs (not a recurring funding need), not be able to be funded by other sources, and not be for consumables such as travel or food.

Please access the online application form through the PTO website, project page. You will also find the process, guidelines, and past accepted projects listed there.

Requests can be made by any SHS student, student organization, faculty member, faculty organization, administrator, that is a member of the PTO. (Membership fees may be paid at the time the request is submitted using the staff PTO membership form)

Requests for this funding cycle must be completed and submitted by October 7, 2016.

Contact Suzanne VanDenBrink, PTO VP, at 469-7968 or vdbgolf@yahoo.com with questions.

This will be the only project cycle for 2016-2017
