The Blue Angel Weekly

March 14, 2023

Dear PCA Families,

Thank you for your patience with carpool during TPC last week!

We are officially in the 4th quarter of the school year! Let's finish strong, Blue Angels!

Adoration

As a reminder, during the season of Lent, we will be having Adoration in the PCA Chapel every Tuesday after our Children's Mass from 10:30-2:00. Parents are welcome to attend Adoration during this time as well. There is a Sign-Up Genius so that we can ensure that the Blessed Sacrament is never left alone in the chapel. Please sign up for some special time in Adoration!

Continued prayers!

Thank you for all your prayers, PCA families! Please continue to storm heaven with prayers for continued healing for our principal, Mrs. Earp, and for strength for Ms. Cashin, our 5th grade paraprofessional, as she awaits her new lungs!

"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." - Mark 11:24

Dress Down Day to Support OLSS Senior Care Packages!

We will be having a dress down day on Wednesday, March 22. To participate, students should bring in $1.00. All money will be used to support the OLSS Senior Care Packages for homebound, BEAM, and nursing home patients (see more information about these below).

There is not a theme/color to follow for this dress down, but ALL DRESS DOWN DAY RULES APPLY. For your information, here are the rules as stated in the Parent/Student Handbook:

For dress down days, jeans are acceptable but cannot have any rips or tears. No hats or flipflops are to be worn to school. No tank top style tops are allowed. Only shorts that are Bermuda or Capri in length are permitted. Shoulders, midriffs, and backs must be covered (no cut-out style clothes) at all times. Leggings are not allowed unless the shirt reaches the mid-thigh area. Clothing should not have any messages or words that would be considered inappropriate for a Catholic school.

Uniform checks!

Parents, please make sure to check your child's uniform! Students are growing and we are noticing some skirts that are too short! Also, boys should be wearing a belt with their uniform pants/shorts.

As a reminder, students are not permitted to wear make-up to school.
