Last Chance to Check the Lost and Found!

Did your student lose their hat or jacket in school? Please come and check the lost and found before Friday, December 18th at the end of the school day.

What happens after Friday, December 18th?

Any unclaimed items will be donated.

I need to look for my student's sweater! Where’s the Lost & Found?

Our Lost & Found is in the front office, and it consists of a rack and a green bin.

My student's hat isn't there! Is there somewhere else I could look for it?

If it’s been turned into the office, it goes into the Lost & Found. We don’t have a second Lost & Found location.

How do I help my student keep track of their stuff?

We suggest putting the student’s name or initials on the inside of clothing, backpacks, or books. Avoid having the student bring anything expensive or unnecessary items to school.

Castro Spirit Wear Sales

Last Tuesday, the Castro Spirit Wear Committee hosted three sales. There was a large gathering and many items were sold at the school drop-off and pick-up times.

This year the Committee has brought these Hoodies and T-shirts to the Castro families at cost. Spirit Wear is not currently a fundraiser for the Castro PTA. In the coming year, Spirit Wear will again help the PTA as a minimal fundraiser. Our goal is to provide quality clothing and items at an affordable price and help support the Castro PTA.

If you would like to help on the Spirit Wear Committee please contact the PTA Parent Lead, Trudy Wilson at trudyj92@gmail.com or call/text (408) 903-7134 or contact Evelyn in the school office.

You will have more opportunities to get your Castro Dolphin Spirit Wear in the New Year. The Committee is planning to add new items before the end of this school year. The dates and details of all future sales will be posted in the Dolphin Whistle. Hooray Castro Dolphins!!!

Box Tops and Labels for Education

You can save Box Tops for Education and Labels for Education during Winter Break. This is also a good opportunity to ask family and neighbors to start cutting and saving the coupons in a baggie for your child’s school. Look on all can labels, bags, and boxes of the products that you use. Clip them and turn them in! Every donation helps Castro School. Remember to look for Bonus Coupons on selected items and cut them out too. This is easy money for our school. Start saving today!
