The presenter Jeanetta Bryant, is the founder and executive director of Abilities Workshop, Inc. The mission of Abilities Workshop is to provide a place to have questions answered and provide a community of support for families who have a child with special needs. Jeanetta was named the Top Autism Advocate in 2021 by Exceptional Needs Today. She is the mother of two children, one who lives with Autism. She is an author and developer, who has recently acquired Bright Feats, a directory that helps thousands of families find support and services.

Jeanette Bryant is the founder and executive director of Abilities Workshop, Inc. She is dedicated to helping special needs families find answers and children impacted by a special needs diagnosis be their best. Jeanetta is an author, developer and an advocate. As a mom of two children, one with ASD, she finds no greater joy than watching them develop and achieve their dreams. Her interests include family time at home or a theme park, college football, and making memories.

Soren has completed Florida Partners in Policymaking and Pete’s Wrightslaw workshops. Soren has been involved with the public school system and IEPs for over 5 years and enjoys educating parents how to navigate the special education process. Soren lives in Central Florida with her husband and son. Soren was born and raised in Aruba and speaks four languages (English, Spanish, Dutch and Papiamento). Email: soren@fndfl.org | Rose Lumm Rose is a Family Resource Specialist for Early Steps of Central FL. She taught for Orange County Public Schools before coming to Early Steps. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education and is a graduate of Partners in Policymaking through the FL Developmental Disabilities Council. She has served as a Board Member for UCP and the Spina Bifida Association of Central FL. Rose is active in the FL Family Leaders Network. Rose is the proud mother of twins plus one.
