Brilliant Brains Bulletin - 4th
October
Mrs. Redmon
Current Studies and Explorations
In the beginning of October, students will be learning how to program & troubleshoot the LEGO Mindstorm NXT robots using software. Students will use critical thinking and problem solving to actively build their understanding of programming and coding using a kid-friendly, icon-based software. Later in the month, learners will start to plan, build, and test their own original robot and program designs.
Throughout November, they will also be given specific challenges to apply their knowledge and test their problem solving skills. Students will share their struggles and successes through open peer discussion & notebooking.
Whether it is in space exploration, the medical field, or even on the football field, robotic technology is used everywhere. During these explorations, students will gain a better understanding of our world & its advancements in science through robotics.
