Graduation/End of Year Information

Last week on Friday we sent out an email, with a letter attached, addressing a number of important dates, times, and other information related to the end of the school year. Finish the year strong!

With graduation upon us, please encourage your son/daughter to finish this year strong. Colleges do want final transcripts from students who have committed to their institution. This means it is important that grades are maintained through 2nd Semester in order to maintain one’s academic record.

Graduation Information

Herff Jones/Graduation Information

Herff Jones will be here on May 21st. Seniors who have ordered a cap and gown may pick up their items that day between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Contact Herff Jones at 317-839-1600 or if you still need to order anything graduation related.

Graduation for the Class of 2019 is scheduled for Saturday, June 8, 2019. Commencement practice will take place the day before on Friday, June 7th at 10:00 a.m. Check in will begin at 9:30 a.m. and attendance will be taken. This is a mandatory practice and is required for students wanting to participate in the Commencement Ceremony. The Team 2019 Commencement Ceremony will take place at C.F. Roark Stadium (BHS Football Field). Due to the uncertainty of our weather, we will be prepared with 3 plans for this day:

Option A – 10:00 am outside on the football field

Option B – 6:00 pm outside on the football field

Option C – 6:00 pm inside in the Varsity Fieldhouse


Yearbooks will be distributed during lunch on Monday, May 20 and Tuesday, May 21. If your student is absent the day of distribution, he or she can pick it up in the team office. If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Adler at
