Snacks in the Cafeteria
Students in grades 1-6 are now allowed purchase snacks and/or ice cream at lunch in addition to the items listed on the lunch menu. Students are able to purchase snacks as long as they have money in their My School Bucks account. Students on free and reduced lunch cannot get these additional snacks unless they have money in their My School Bucks account. Please check in with your child about their spending and monitor their account if they are buying breakfast/lunch/snack.
Visit MySchoolBucks.com to set up recurring payments, create low balance alerts, and track and review what your student is purchasing.

Sponsors Needed!
Dear Parents,
We are a little over four weeks away from our fundraising kick off date. We have big, but hopeful goals of raising $25,000! But wait, there’s more…
Kutz is so excited to launch our first ever Fun Run Tee Shirt Sponsorship Program! Through the program, we will provide a tee shirt to every student on our event day. We are hoping to partner with business owners within our Kutz community to help sponsor these shirts. Our goal is to cover 100% of the shirt costs through sponsors. Your business name will be displayed on the back of the shirt and worn by every student in our school. Not only will your support be incredibly helpful to Kutz, but it will enable us to support your business in return.
If you know of, or are part of a business that would be interested in becoming a Kutz Fun Run Shirt Sponsor, please consider partnering with us. For a $250 contribution, your business name will be printed on the back of the shirts. The sponsorship program is separate from our Fun Run student pledges, but includes a name ad on the shirts AND your business name and link on the Boosterthon website for promotional purposes.
A sponsorship letter and form will be sent home next week! Thank you in advance for supporting this new component of our fundraising efforts.
*Stop by the fundraising table tonight at the picnic, if you want to learn more about both the sponsorship program and the Fun Run.*
Our Kutz Cougars are doing AMAZING THINGS!
Dismissal Reminders
For car rider dismissal, please make sure the lettering is in thick, dark, large print on your yellow placard that can be read by our staff members from a distance. Please also either have your placard in the passenger side window or if you want to keep it on your dashboard, please hold it up for staff members to easily see. This will ensure our car line moves as efficiently as possible.
Thank you!

Devices for 22-23 School Year
All Central Bucks’ students will either receive a device this year or continue to use the device that was issued last year. Read more about our plan and the next steps here: https://www.cbsd.org/1to12022
New this year, Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade students will not be taking their devices home with them each night. Instead, iPads will be stored and charged in the classrooms. Students in grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 will take their laptop to and from school each day. All laptops must be carried inside a laptop case.
CHIP Insurance Opportunity
There is a paper application for families, but there is an online application that can be found here: https://www.chipcoverspakids.com/Pages/default.aspx. The online application can be translated to the family’s preferred language.
As a reminder, please fill out the Free and Reduced Lunch application if needed.
The link is here:

In the past, we have also accepted paper applications, which we can still do. We ask the parents to complete the application (English and Spanish versions available on the website) and the school nurses can collect it.

Requests made using the parent portal will also serve as the excuse for the absence. Parents will not be required to submit an excuse either electronic or written.
Parents and guardians can also still call the school to report an absence, but emails will no longer be accepted.
In addition, when a student is absent from school, but the school did not receive communication from the parent or guardian, the following communication will be sent:
