What is SMART Lab?
SMART lab gives teachers the means to quickly build game-based activities that amaze and engage students on their devices or front-of-room display. Create interactive learning experiences in less than five minutes that will engage and amaze your students. With SMART lab save hours of lesson planning time while providing a rich classroom experience for your students.
How do I know if I have the software on my computer?
Your RPS issued laptop comes with the SMART software already installed! In the search box on the bottom left, type in SMART Notebook, and you should easily be able to find it!
I don't have the software on my RPS computer! What do I do?
Call the service desk @ 804-780-7880 option 1 and ask them to remote into your computer and install the SMART Notebook Software. Make sure you have the RPS tag number handy!
* Be sure to unblock the filter if on the the RPS network in order to view the videos below.

Or follow these simple steps!
Open SMART notebook
Click on the SMART lab button at the top.....it looks like a little robot! Then select an activity.
Add Content!
Add content to your activity!
Select a Theme
Select a theme and then click FINISH at the bottom.
Try out a pre-made activity!
You can narrow down your search for an activity by changing the subject or the grade level on the left hand side.
