Don't raise your hand. Wait for the waiter/waitress to walk by and politely get their attention.
What is gratuity and how you should figure it on bill?
- Gratuity is a tip given to a waiter, taxicab driver, etc...
- You figure out the gratuity by taking the percent of the bill you want to give as an tip, and multiple it by the percent you want to give.
- so for an example if you want to give a 20% tip, and your total is $52.89, you take .20 and multiple it by 52.89... which gives you the total of $10.58... that is the total tip you should give.
Some Extra Tips!
