Networking

What is a network?

A network is a tool each of you uses every day of your life. Whenever you use WiFi, or even Ethernet, you are accessing the internet, which is a global-scale network. A network is, in simplest terms, a large web of computers connected to one another. Whether they are connected via WiFi or Ethernet / phone cable does not matter.

How is it beneficial to businesses?

Networks provide a vast 'tool box' for businesses to use. Some of these include:

  • Advertising
  • Sharing ideas and sending important memos
  • Ability to hold online calls and press conferences
  • Allows access to near real-time world events and news
