Message from Dr. Yearby
Happy New Year! It is my hope that each and every one of our students and families had an enjoyable winter break. The second semester is always a fun, but busy time, and we are excited to get started.
As we start this next semester, we wanted to inform you of a change in the cafeteria. Effective immediately, students will no longer be able to invite other classmates to eat with them when a parent or guardian comes for lunch. We've thought long and hard about this change and want to ensure the time spent with parent and child is honored, while also reinforcing the wishes of the parents of each classmate. We greatly appreciate your understanding. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to reach out.
Your Proud Principal,
Mandy Yearby

Mulberry Advisory Council (K-5)
The Mulberry School Counselors are looking for volunteers to participate in our Advisory Council! Advisory councils, recommended by the American School Counselor Association, help school counseling programs analyze and document the answer to the question, “How are students different because of what school counselors do?” The council will examine services in three key domains of academic, personal/social, and college and career exploration and will review data related to the comprehensive developmental school counseling program at Mulberry Elementary School. The council will meet twice per year. Please reach out to Katie Fields at katie.fields@gcpsk12.org if you’re interested in participating!
