The social studies assessments in grades 6-8 will assess the current Tennessee Academic Standards for social studies, which require students to demonstrate historical awareness, geographical understanding, and the ability to analyze primary source documents. The assessment will include multiple choice, multiple select, and 2-point and 4-point written response items. The assessment will also provide the opportunity for students to showcase their knowledge and ability to respond to historical questions in writing, so join this session to learn more about the 2-point and 4-point written response items.

The 11th grade United States History and Geography assessment, which is the only end-of-course exam in high school social studies, will assess the current Tennessee Academic Standards and require students to demonstrate a deep understanding of civics, culture, economics, and geography within the context of United States History and Geography. This assessment will include special attention to Tennessee connections. The test will include multiple choice, multiple select, and a written response item, which requires students to provide a response to a prompt with the use of several sources. Join this session to learn more about the written portion of the 11th grade TNReady assessment.

STEM Table Talk: Growing STEM in your School - PM Only
In this session, choose from a menu of table talks to learn how to grow STEM in your school. Topics such as: STEM Family Nights, STEM school Designation, Robotics in your school, Scheduling STEM in Secondary, and more! Come hear from schools and leaders that made these things real in their schools. Participants will rotate through 3-4 talks before completing the session. Join us for a fun and engaging format!
