LTMS Highlights

Footloose

Last weekend's musical performances were excellent! Mrs. Seidler, Mrs. Stratton, and Mrs. Roberts did an outstanding job with set design, costumes, choreography, acting coaching, directing, and much more. Thank you musical team and students; it was fun to watch the kids "cut loose."

Esports

Our eSports team has been learning the ropes and navigating the curriculum and lessons involved. This past week, however, we finally got to compete against other schools! While we are still learning and grasping at what all eSports entails, we managed to defeat several teams and now have one of our groups ranked in the top 30 in the nation! And, speaking of Esports, check out the promo below. We are trying to expand our Esports to include even more kids!

Cooking Classes

Thanks to a generous donation, we kicked off what we hope can be a regular occurrence at LT - cooking classes! After surveying students on who would benefit from learning to cook (outside of FACS class) for their families, a team of teachers organized some afternoon sessions that include learning how to prep a meal, and then sending home the supplies to re-create that meal at home. So awesome!

Solo and Ensemble Band Competition

LTMS hosted a band solo and ensemble competition. Individuals and ensemble groups from across the league performed before judges from around the state. It was a great opportunity for our students to show off their skills, and we had a very high percentage of students with top scores!
