Review + Summary

The book starts off with Thomas waking up in like a dark elevator shaft. The only thing he can remember is his name. He is surrounded by a bunch of boys who had their memories wiped to. The boys are shocked because this isn't usually the time a new person comes. They boys get Thomas caught up on whats happening in the glade. Everything changes when a girl appears unconsious in the elevator shaft. Thomas does everything he can to try and figure out a way out of the maze in the glade. Thomas kills a griever during his journey through the maze when he got stuck. That griever turned out to be the key to getting out, and once he gets out a bunch of stuff about the society that created the maze gets exposed.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved how the author made up this whole other world, where everything is different from the real world. I also loved how the movie and how it pretty muched captured everything, there were some changes but not many. The author really described the characters well and the description of the glade is amazing, like how the book managed to describe the whole maze and like every little detail.
