STATE PER CAPITA AUDIT SEPTEMBER 10
Our school has been selected for an audit by the state government. This includes ensuring all student absences for this term are accounted for, and for that we need your help. The vast majority of absences are covered, but if you have received notification that an absence or absences for your child/children are not covered by a note, please help us by completing the documentation and returning it to us. It is important as it does affect funding. Thanks for your support.

We are planning the Lapathon and need helpers to coordinate prizes and logistics on the day. This is our big fundraiser for the year and the children love it, so get involved!
Also coming up and we’ll be looking for help from the following year groups:

SCIENCE NEWS
National Science Week - Mission to the Moon
Last week was science week with the theme being Mission to the Moon.
The children all enjoyed looking at videos of the moon landing and learned about satellites and saw some pictures on the earth observatory page from Nasa. They even had a picture from Australia on there!
Children from Years PP - Yr 2 made rockets they tried to launch to the moon.
Year 3 and 4 designed a lunar rover and Years 5 and 6 designed a space probe. Their work can be seen on their See Saw site.
Here are some classes enjoying their activity:
