Monday Musings
Thoughts from your Head Teacher
Winter seems to have finally arrived and the children have been wrapping up warm to go outside at lunch time. It feels right that it is now this cold - Winter needed to come properly! School is always a little chilly on a Monday morning but as the week goes on it holds its heat and becomes nice and cosy - a good environment for lots of good work!
02 choir practice on Thursday
If possible we would like to keep the choir children until 5pm on Thursday this week. Just for that final push! Please do not worry if they cannot stay, just come when you need to to collect them (pop your head round the hall door). If they are staying until 5pm please can they bring a snack and drink with them on as we will stop half way through for a short break and voice rest. We are all working hard at learning the words, and Dylan and I have been enjoying dancing in the front room to the You Tube clips!
1-1 music lessons - Fridays with Anna
Anna teaches 1-1 lessons on the violin and piano on a Friday and she has space for a few more children. These can be arranged with her and she invoices parents directly. If you would be interested in your child having a lesson then please contact Anna on annagracemax@yahoo.co.uk
Friday Singing
Just a quick reminder that all parents are welcome to join us at 3pm for our open assembly every week. We sing all together and you will be encouraged to join in!
Year 5 & 6 residential trip in September
As many of you are aware we take the Fireflies away for a 2 nights in September. We still have not found the 'perfect' site so Kayleigh and Ruth are off on Friday to visit Kingswood Residential Centre in West Runton (Norfolk) to check the site out and look at the activities they will offer our children. Watch this space!
