Message from the Principal
We are exciting to be partnering with PTO as we kick off our Fall Fundraiser ‑ Ride's Reading Adventure (RRA)!
What is RRA?
Ride's Reading Adventure was created because the profit that came in from fundraisers was being split with the company we used. Our school only kept about 52% of the profits ‑ that wasn't enough for all the hard work our kids put into the fundraiser! With RRA, our students as for donations towards their education, and Ride keeps 100% of those donations!
When is RRA?
It started Wednesday, September 20th! Your child has forms with them that you all can look through at home. Pay special attention to the pink sheet ‑ it's your cheat sheet for what to do! Our fundraiser runs through Wednesday, October 11th and our Storybook Parade and RRA Event is Friday, October 13th. Save the date for the storybook parade because your child would love to see you there! 🙂
What are the RRA Goals?
We are hoping that each Challenger can "FIND 10, GET $10" ‑ this means, FIND 10 friends, family members or neighbors who they can GET $10 from towards our fundraiser. Our ultimate goal is that each Challenger can bring in at least $100, but if you and your child want to set higher goals, the sky is the limit!!
How Can We Do This?
In class, teachers will help each child come up with a GOAL. We will also help with brainstorming a list of 10 friends, family and neighbors your child can ask. We will practice with each other on the appropriate way to ask for donations towards Ride. At home, you can help your child call, Facetime or knock on a favorite neighbor's door to ask for donations. There is a script included in the large white envelope on a half sheet of paper your child can use to ask for donations or a chore. Additionally, you can post on your social media account, or have your child create a video that can be posted as well ‑ these are always so cute!
Your child's teacher will reach out to you in the next couple of weeks and let you know where we are on our class goal and share with you any ideas we come up with as a class in order to get more participation.
As always, we appreciate your help and support with Ride's Reading Adventure and our saying of FIND 10, GET $10!!!
We hope you have a wonderful weekend.

CISD Bond
At their Special Board Meeting on August 1, 2023, the Conroe ISD Board of Trustees unanimously voted to put four propositions on the November 7th ballot for a bond referendum. If voters approve Prop A and any combination of Props B, C, and/or D on November 7, there is a 2-cent anticipated tax rate increase to Conroe ISD residents in 2024-2025. Leading up to Election Day, you will continue to receive factual information about the upcoming bond. To learn more about Bond 2023, please visit www.conroeisd.net/bond or follow us on social media.
