The Good News

Leadership Team Message
Sunday blessings everyone,
Well, winter has let us know she is here! Hopefully she is only staying for awhile, but one never knows. With the colder weather here, and the snow and ice, it is most important that students come dressed for the weather.
We have noticed an increased number of parents entering the staff parking lot to either drop off students, turn around, or park. We kindly ask you not to enter; it is a very tight space now, having 40 spots and 43 staff, and turning around poses a great safety concern for our students. We would appreciate your cooperation with this.
Also, picture retakes are scheduled for Monday, November 21 - that is right after fall break. Mark your calendars!
Our grade 2 classes are having an "in-school field trip" on the Inuit peoples by "Teacher's Pet" on Friday, October 21st and we know they would love volunteers. If you are available, contact your child's grade 2 teacher.
Other than that, it is a very quiet week. Feel free to join us for assembly tomorrow right after lunch.
Blessings,
Mrs. Melnyk & Mrs. Weller

Important Student Forms
Some of our classes are heading out on Field Trips in the future, please make sure those consents are filled out online, or sent in via paper copy asap. If we do not have consent, students will not be able to go on these out of school field trips.
Access to you parent portal works best with Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and/or Firefox. If you need assistance, call Mrs. Wilson in the office.
