The Rangerettes
The Rangrettes were founded in 1939 by Miss Gussie Nell Davis. They made the first Debut, September 12, 1940. During Davis's 40 yeas of teaching, the girls traveled all around the world, preforming at football games, being interviewed for magazines, starring in movies and much more!
Timeline
1940- present
1951
Preformed at the New Years Cotton bowl. Still to this day, the girls preform there. (preformed at least 65 times)
1977
The girls spent 15 days in Romania touring and preforming behind the Iron Curtain.
1997
Preformed at the Chinese New Year celebration in Singapore
2013
The girls went to Dublin again to celebrate and preform in the Saint Patrick's Day Parade in Dublin Ireland.The girls headed to Washington DC to attend the black tie and boots ball to celebrate the inauguration of President Barack Obama.
2015
The girls went to Dublin again to celebrate and preform in the Saint Patrick's Day Parade in Dublin Ireland.

About the Rangerettes
The Rangerettes were the first precision dance team.
Over 75 years, they have only had three teachers, Gussie Nell Davis, Deana Covin, and Dana Blair.
Their most popular style of dance is high kick.
The team has entered their 75th year.
Inside the team, there is another more elite team that are called the swingsters and they mostly focus on jazz.
the girls are currently having a movie made about them titled "Sweethearts of the Gridiron"
