Month in Review- November
On November 3, 2022, we welcomed Assistant Commissioner Cary Booker and Deputy Assistant Tonya Coston from the New Jersey Department of Education to our district. They enjoyed a tour of all of our preschool classes.
Report cards for the first marking period displayed on the Parent Portal on November 5, 2022 and Parent/Teacher Conferences took place on November 21, 2022 and November 22, 2022.
Reminders for December
A Four Hour Session will take place for all students on December 23, 2022. Schools will be closed for Winter Recess from December 26th through January 2nd. Schools will reopen on January 3rd.
Berkeley Township Elementary School
The Berkeley Township Elementary School held its Annual Turkey Bowl this month. The students and staff went to Veterans Park and played flag football against each other. There were over 500 touchdowns, 3,330 interceptions, and hundreds of laughs and smiles. Go Bulldogs!
Bayville School's fourth grade Peer Leaders engaged in a dynamic workshop with Lead U. These ambassadors learned about empowerment and leadership as they participated in various activities. Their mission is to promote kindness, respect and tolerance among the Bayville School community and to give back to Berkeley Township and various organizations through service initiatives.
H & M Potter School
H & M Potter School's Student Council conducted a Thanksgiving Food Drive and assembled baskets for families in need.
Clara B. Worth School
CBW’s third grade continued their tradition of providing Thanksgiving meals for families in need.
Curriculum and Instruction
Berkeley Township School District students participated in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) Clubs. Our innovative thinkers used their engineering skills for their creative projects!
