From The Principal

We are at the mid-point of the 2nd 9 weeks of school, so progress reports will come home next week. Please take the time to review your child's progress. Sign up for our Parent Portal, if you haven't already. It's a great way to stay up to date on how your child is doing at school.

Remember that we are in our final couple of days of collecting items for Operation Christmas Child. See below for information on the day that we will gather our items and pack shoeboxes for children around the world. I hope you can join us!

Look for more information from your child's teacher about upcoming Thanksgiving Feasts. We will celebrate those on Friday, November 22. It will be here before you know it!

Have a great weekend!

Operation Christmas Child

We are finishing up the final days of collecting items for Operation Christmas Child. Please be sure to read the Operation Christmas Child flyer that we are sending home today! Join us on Monday, November 11, from 3:45-5:00, to gather everything that we have collected and put together our shoeboxes. Last year, we put together 200 boxes to send out, and we would like to meet that goal again! Please join us, if you can, for a time of volunteering together to make a difference in children's lives.

Perfect Attendance Incentives

Life School Red Oak would like to encourage our students to be in attendance each day to make sure they can “Ready to Learn, Ready to Lead, Ready for Life.” We will hold a drawing at the end of each month for all students that have perfect attendance for that month. Students must have perfect attendance during the month, no absences, tardies, or early checkouts. There will be a prize for students that are in Kindergarten thru 3rd grade and a prize for students in 4th grade thru 6th grade. The prize winners will be announced during morning announcements and we will contact the parents/guardians to come by the office to pick up the prizes. Please see Pages 3-4 of the Student Handbook for the Attendance guidelines.
