Throughout the year, UREC is celebrating the many unique programs that make us More Than a Gym. We offer a number of ways for the Seattle University community to stay active, healthy and happy.


One way that we work to build community is through our Sport Clubs. UREC supports 15+ Sport Clubs, from Volleyball to Water Polo and everything in-between.

Small Group Training

These semi-private Personal Training sessions occur 2x/week for 6 weeks with a group of 3-6 participants.


Strength Training: Tue & Thur 7:00-8:00am


TRX II: Mon & Wed 5:00-6:00pm


Students: $120 ($10/session)

Non-Students: $180 ($15/session)

Personal Training Workshop: Learn to Lift

Join us for our Learn to Lift Workshop, 4/29 from 9:30-11:30am! In this session our Nationally Certified Personal Trainers will explain the many benefits behind strength training, as well as take you through all the major movements. This workshop takes place when the facility is closed so we’ll have the floor to ourselves - this is a great time to get your questions answered and start your fitness journey!

Group Fitness Highlight: Trekking

Take your workout to a whole new level with this treadmill based class, now on Wednesday nights!


This high energy class boosts cardiovascular endurance and includes simulated hills and speed work. Great for both walkers and runners! Trekking is limited to 7 participants, so pre-registration is suggested.

Are you an adventurer? Show us! This month, we’re celebrating our love of the outdoors with a photo contest. Enter your photo(s) and include a brief note about what the image represents for you. Finalists’ photos will be on display at UREC and the winner will win a swag bag and be featured on our Instagram.
