After lots of hard work wrapping up this first quarter, we are ready to head into Quarter 2! Next week will be a busy one, so please keep the following dates in mind:

- 9:00 to 9:30 Section A
- 10:00 to 10:30 Section B

Bingo Night is a perfect way to spend time with friends, family, and staff, plus a chance to win BIG!

Math
This week we will be starting Chapter 6, Multiplication of 6, 7, and 8. We will build on the conceptual knowledge that children developed last year around making equal groups, skip counting, and repeated addition to help them multiply. We will also be solving word problems that involve multiplication and division, and review the relationship between multiplication and division. Science
We will continue to investigation motion with a glimpse into how gravity and wind affect the movement of objects in the air. We'll be constructing and experimenting with "twirly birds" to help us understand these important concepts of motion. Be on the lookout for flying twirly birds at home!
