"Don't watch the clock, do what it does. It keeps going!" - Anonymous
What a fantastic week. We had a successful 5th Grade Transition Day, 8th grade went on a field trip and we had a successful District-Community Engagement Committee. Great work team! Continue with the good fight! Although counting down the days seems like a worthwhile process, keep in mind our kids still have a lot of learning to do and we still have a lot of impacting left in us! Take a deep breath. School is going as smooth as possible right now and we want to keep that going.
Be positive and be on your toes! The kids deserve our best daily!
Kudos:
- Student Council and Candice Weiser for putting on a successful 5th Grade Transition Day!
-This was missed last week - Rick Kutcher and Ian Young successfully tested over 30 5th graders for instrument placement. Your work will pay off!
There are literally so many things to compliment I can't remember them all. Please know that our kids appreciate your efforts daily.
Peeking into the future:
Monday night (April 11) is the Showcase of Learning from 7-8 PM. Please spend some time Monday letting the kids prepare and decorate. For students who have nothing to show during Art/Band/Theatre/Robotics...they may present in their Core Classes at that time.
Let's dress professional and put on a good show!
Reminders:
1. #LISDedchat will resume Sunday, April 10th! Be there!
