SHARK SHOUT OUTS
- Many thanks to the MRHS students who chaperoned the middle school social at the Chatham Community Center on Friday, Oct. 4: Elizabeth Anderson, Kaeleigh Bourgea, Laura Brown, Jenna Greco, Katelyn Groves, Olivia Hayden, Kaitlyn Lyons, Leah Nash, and George Spalt. They were helpful, attentive, and enthusiastic! --Sharon Stark, Chatham Youth Services, and Sheila House, Harwich Youth Services
I would like to extend an enormous Shark Shout Out to Alison Burton and our amazing Peer Leaders for their work last night on the parent Youth Risk Behavior Survey data presentation. The students were well prepared, articulate in their responses, and mature beyond their years. I am proud to be a member of this amazing MRHS community! -Ms. Jennifer Police
I wanted to take this opportunity to acknowledge the work of Steve Cass and his involvement in creating the student YRBS presentation. Steve made this presentation possible for us to deliver the information to students, without impacting valuable instructional time during the school day. Our students are so fortunate to have access to an educator that brings a state of the art facility and digital equipment to life. Thank you Steve for your unwavering support. -Ms. Jennifer Police
Thank you to Mr. Jon Bennett for organizing and coordinating the PSAT process! -Ms. Lindsay Ginnetty
- I wish to give an enormous Shark Shoutout to the Art of Charity for their generosity. They will pay for the London 2020 students' transfer bus to and from the airport to help us defray costs and protect the environment. I am grateful for their ongoing support of our students and cultural programs! -Mrs. Rachel Barnes
Huge shark Shout Out to the many people who made our Youth Risk Assessment Presentation (Student video and Parent night) a great success. If you missed it the many serious topics were presented in a professional manner and the students’ maturity was amazing!
SHOUT OUT TO:
Dr. Carpenter- Superintendent, Jen Police - Assistant Principal and Joy Jordan - Community Outreach Coordinator for giving of their time and expertise to prepare the students.

MRHS Seniors take part in 'The Credit for Life Fair'
Graduating seniors at MRHS got the chance to see how to handle their expenses once they become adults. The Credit for Life Fair, put on by Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank, taught them how to manage rent, education costs, and bills by having them experience a simulated budget based on their career choice and expenses. Once again, Monomoy students got high marks for being well dressed, enthusiastic, and mature.
A hearty thank you to this year's seniors for a job well done!
Steve Cass produced this video of the fair with Maggie Dever and Matt Lucey: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4JfCI6Aqd8&feature=youtu.be
With much appreciation,

The Monomoy team did yardwork, basement cleanouts, and more for two very appreciative homeowners. The volunteers were Susannah Brown, Lillian Gould, Kristen Hayden, Jemma Hayes, Joy Jordan, Liam Jordan, Karen Lucey, Matt Lucey, Amalia Marjollet, Derith Marjollet, Samantha Morse, Talia Tambolleo Perez, Angelica Velasquez, and Max Whelan.
