What We've Been Doing This Week
This week, we continued our Farm Unit. Our Read Alouds for the week were City Mouse, Country Mouse, Chicken Little, and Down on the Farm. We have been singing some farm theme songs and talking about animals that have eggs. We talked about some things that we could find only in the country and then some things we could find in the city.
Our letter for the week was "P." Our number of the week was "8." The color of the week was brown and the shape of the week was a rectangle.
Mother's Day Tea
We will be having a Mother's Day Tea in the classroom, next Friday, at 1:30. Please let us know if you will be coming.
Outside Recess
Due to the construction, the designated play area for East Side is currently the back baseball fields. There is no shade on the fields so please make sure that your child comes to school with a hat to protect their face from the sun. You may also wish to put some sunblock on them before sending them to school.
