Cougar "Prints"
Week of October 1
District Safety Audits to Begin This Week - IMPORTANT
1. Doors must remain locked at all time and closed when a room in not being used - this includes the staff kitchen and bathroom in the K-2 building. This also includes the MakerSpace.
2. Your blackout area in your room is the farthest point away from the line of sight from your door window. If you cannot get completely out of sight, which we know may happen on our campus, then it is the best you can possibly make it while maybe even placing something in front of the sight line that you may hide behind.
3. Refamiliarize yourself with the blackout procedures.
4. Also, if you see a strang face with or without an ID badge, it is your responsibility to stop that person and ask them who they are and if they've signed in the front office. If they have not, either call for someone to escort them or escort them yourself if you are able to back to the front office.
Title I & Curriculum Night - Thank you!
Thank you to everyone who participated in our Title I Curriculum Night. While I was able to briefly attend, I saw some pretty awesome costumes and the parents and students really seemed to enjoy it.
We will be working on the contest process in the very near future, so be on the look out for that.
Radio on the Playground - this will cycle off this week
Thank you.
Let's Welcome baby Grayson John Berger!
Full Staff Meetings Oct. 3 and Oct. 10
Since this Friday is a full student day, we will need to have another shorter staff meeting Oct. 10 for about 30mins, and then we will transition to the SIT meeting, which will end at 4:30pm as previously scheduled. We have so much to cover that we are trying to avoid planning times, extra staff meetings another day of the week, etc.
STAFF SHOUT-OUTS!
Shout-out to Donna Hamilton! While I've been battling pneumonia, Donna has kept up with all the administrative requirements and support on her own. Thank you!
Shout-out to Encore and General Ed. Teachers for continuing to knock out the mClass testing. Also, AIG and ESL continue to with testing of their own in support of students. Thank you all for your coordinated efforts.
Shout-out to Nurse Golie! She facilitated the first School Health and Wellness Team meeting last week! Sorry I missed it...
