PTA Membership - Why Join the PTA?
PTA is the oldest and largest child advocacy association in America. Today's PTA is comprised of 5 million parents, teachers, grandparents, caregivers, foster parents and other caring adults who share a commitment to improving the education, health, and safety of all children. We speak with one voice for every child.
Our PTA is currently collecting membership dues and forms. Dues are $5 per member. Our goal is for each student enrolled to have 1 PTA membership.

School Security
Thank you all for understanding our updated security policies to include the addition of our video buzz in system. Additionally, to ensure building safety, please be reminded that parents are asked to make appointments with teachers and staff. We love our parents and love to maintain a high level of communication, but parents are discouraged from coming up to school to see a teacher before, during, or after school without an appointment scheduled. When a teacher stops to have a conversation with a parent, it takes his/her attention off the class, and we want to maintain safety for all students. In addition, please be reminded, as per Lynnhaven Elementary policies sent home in the summer with the class assignments, parents wishing to observe students must make an appointment with the administration. Thank you for your understanding!
