Pella Middle School - PRACTICE TEST DATES & SCHEDULES

Tomorrow, Tuesday, March 10, we will conduct our first of three Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP) practice tests. On Monday, March 23, we will conduct our second ISASP practice test. On Monday, March 30, 8th graders will be practicing the science portion of the ISASP during their Science class.

Below is the breakdown of things you might want to know:

Tuesday, March 10 - 1st Practice Test

8:15 am - Practice testing begins in their 10th-period classroom
9:15 am - ALL students begin period 1

Monday, March 23 - 2nd Practice Test

(MONDAY AFTER SPRING BREAK)
8:15 am - Practice testing begins in their 10th-period classroom
9:15 am - ALL students including period 1

Monday, March 30 - (Grade 8 only) Science Practice Test

A normal school day for ALL students
8th grade will practice the science portion of the ISASP during Science class

STUDENTS - please come with your Google Chromebooks charged and be well rested!

Mathcounts competition at William Penn University

These students competed at the Mathcounts competition at William Penn University. This group represented Pella Middle School very well!

Below: Penelope Shriver placed 1st individually, and Eli Ebeling received a 3rd place individual finish as well. Penelope will move on and compete at the state competition on March 10th in Des Moines. Congratulations!
