A.C.E Adventures
Happy March! :) We hope and pray you are all healthy and happy and ready for Spring. We have been busy, busy, busy here in ACE and I wanted to check in with you to share some of our excursions. We will be exploring Europe and also focusing on St. Patrick's Day.
We will venture to the Western European countries of Portugal, Spain, and the UK. While there, your child may have the opportunity to paint a traditional Portuguese tile, an azulejos, or taste a yummy Portuguese custard cake; Pasteis de Nata. We will also be experimenting with materials that sink or float, as cork trees are native to Portugal.
While in the UK, we will have the opportunity to taste traditional British fish and chips along with mushy peas, and to also learn the game of cricket. In Ireland, we will celebrate St. Patrick’s day and learn more about the shamrock, Ireland’s national symbol.
We will also be hosting our own March Madness competition to see whose favorite animal will the the ultimate favorite. Have your son or daughter consider which land and sea animals they will nominate!
Fruit of the Spirit: Faithfulness

The Captain Underpants Undie Drive! Tra-la-la-la
Did you know that Underwear is the most under-donated, and most needed item of clothing? No one should be deprived of the simple, daily necessity of clean underwear that many of us take for granted.
During the month of March, we will be collecting
boys and girls underwear from size 4T to size 12/14.
Please drop your donated items in the lobby!
