Hawk Happenings: Dec. 13th
Holy Rosary Regional School/Juan Diego Academy Community
Message from the Principal
We are looking forward to a fantastic Christmas Program this Friday. Students need to be dressed in their costumes and at the school promptly at 6 pm. The kids will go straight to their classrooms. We will start the program at 6:30 pm in the school auditorium and seats can be saved at 6 pm. Each of the classes will take part in the program with songs and acting of the Christmas play. Bring family with you to enjoy this beautiful show for the Christmas season. Remember, the elevator works, so if the stairs are a barrier for anyone, you can take the elevator!
Don't forget that the Crab Feed/Auction Procurements of $100 per family are due THIS Friday. If it is not turned in to the office by this Friday, Dec. 15th, the fee will increase to $150 for those families. Remember that you may also turn in gift cards/certificates or tickets to sporting events with a value of at least $100.00. If you have any questions, please contact Berenice at office@hrrsjda.org or 253-272-7012. The annual Crab Feed and Auction is a fantastic event, so if you've never attended, be sure to attend this year! It is at Bellarmine Prep on Feb. 10th. Dinner (crab and prime rib), auction, and dancing...so much fun!
This will be the last weekly newsletter until after the New Year. I want to take this opportunity to thank each and every family at our school. Your gifts and talents are what makes our school so special. We are blessed to have such a wonderful community with these incredible children and we want to wish each and every family a blessed Christmas and a safe and happy New Year!
Blessings,
Katie Dempsey
Principal

Annual Fund Update...Good News!!
Thank you to all of our families that have given to our Annual Fund Appeal. We have exceeded our participation goal and hit 54%! Since we have met the participation goal, we will receive the $20,000 donation that Ms. Dempsey was able to secure. The Annual Fund Appeal is so important to our school as it supports new curriculum and materials, teachers' salaries, and is raising funds for new playground equipment. Our goal is $146,000 so we still have a long way to go! We have raised/pledged $73,670 for the Annual Fund/Playground. Please consider a one-time donation, or a monthly donation of $25 a month for 10 months which provides a $250 donation. You can easily donate online: https://secure.lglforms.com/form_engine/s/o5kPfZnwU-9YPZxE8gatew
