Thank you for attending our 6th grade and 7/8th grade open house nights. We had amazing attendance, 233 families at our 6th grade Open House and 355 families at our 7/8 grade Open House. We are so appreciative of our KP Student Ambassadors: Sophie A, Liv D., Cece E., Jordan F., Brianna J., Eli K., Joy L., Brooks M., Keara M., Isabella P., Jules R-H, Drew S., Lola S. and Oliver W. and appreciate the support of their families in allowing them to participate and serve as your guides.

As part of our reflective process, we e-mailed all families a survey as we debrief and plan for next year. If you have not completed an Open House Feedback survey yet, please fill in the form below for your respective grade level. Thank you.

P.L.A.E. - People Learning and Exercising Information for 6th & 7th grade families.

PLAE is a before school intramural program for 6th and 7th graders that was created by Mr. Jones in 2003. At PLAE, we play large group games that can accommodate 50+ students. Research shows that students are more effective learners if they exercise before school. Build a routine at home that benefits you in the classroom! Wake up early, grab a healthy breakfast, meet new friends and have a blast doing it! What’s not to love?!

6th Grade PLAE: Tuesday & Friday from 6:40am - 7:40am

7th Grade PLAE: Monday & Thursday from 6:40am - 7:40am

PLAE is part of our intramural program here at King Philip. This means that you must complete an intramural permission slip and pay the $25 activity fee. Our intramural programs are “drop-in” offerings. This means that you can come as you please. If you enjoy it, come back! If it’s not for you, that’s ok too.

PLAE begins at 6:40 in the morning. If your child is interested in participating, we need them to arrive at 6:40. If your child is late, they can miss important directions and may have to sit out for part or all of that morning. Thank you in advance!

Contact Mr. Jones ( with any questions or concerns.
