- Depression is the most common symptom exhibited by survivors of domestic violence.
- Women are more affected than men but men ARE affected.
- Only 3% of women abusers are actually arrested.
What You Can Do to Help
To help you should encourage people that are a victim to get help and help them create a safety plan. Make sure that the victim is comfortable talking to you. Knowledge is power, so learn more about domestic violence to prevent it.
