NEW Summer Internship Opportunities

Work based learning is one of the best ways to develop your post-secondary (after high school) plans. It is a great way to sharpen your soft skills within fields you are interested in and still gain valuable experience. PUSD has three summer open to high school students. It is recommended that students have access to reliable transportation (license not required). Internship Options . Jumior Achievement Ambassador Program 2021 Deadline to apply: June 30,2021

This summer, Junior Achievement will offer its Ambassador Program to Poway Unified School District high school students. This unique leadership program connects students with San Diego business leaders and will provide students with knowledge of the local economy and work-readiness skills. San Diego Coastkeepers Internships 2021

San Diego Coastkeeper loves positive symbiotic relationships, and the partnership we have with our interns is among the best. Internships are where talented people can apply their strengths and skills in volunteer recruitment, marketing, education, or event planning to meaningful environmental work.

San Diego Coastkeeper’s offers a variety of environmental internships that provide hands-on experience and skill development for future careers in the environmental realm specifically, and the non-profit sector in general. Coastkeeper interns are a valued part of our team, contributing to our environmental education and marine debris programs, communications and social media efforts, and overall organizational management. These positions have flexible hours based on the intern’s school or work schedule. All internships are unpaid, and offered only in exchange for university credit or to meet a college graduation requirement.

A six-month online experience that empowers students to pursue their passions in STEM

at no cost.

From June 2021 - December 2021, MOSTEC scholars will:

  • Make meaningful friendships with peers who are equally passionate about STEM and build a long-lasting community of support
  • Increase their confidence to apply to and attend the college of their dreams
  • Build their knowledge in STEM by taking challenging summer courses taught by professors, graduate students, and industry experts

Our internship provides hands-on experience to high school and college-level students interested in pursuing careers in all fields of the health care industry.

Pathmaker interns serve alongside health care professionals in many facets of the industry, working together to provide patient support under the guidance of staff in the provision of a safe, comfortable and confidential environment.
