Eisenhower Updates
From the Principal
Dear Parents and Guardians,
It is with great honor and joy that I introduce myself, Danielle Eikel, as the new principal at Eisenhower! I have been dedicated to Norman Public Schools for more than ten years. My passion for education and working with students has been shaped in many roles- as a third grade teacher at Kennedy, reading specialist at Lincoln, and most recently as assistant principal at Roosevelt. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and my Master's in Administration at OU. I am married and have two children- a four year old, Marley who will be starting pre-k in the fall, and Landon, who just turned a year old.
It is my priority that all students experience success in a positive, safe, and caring environment. We will work to provide the best instructional and extracurricular opportunities and supports possible. One thing I have already learned about Eisenhower is that there is an immense enthusiasm and pride for the school and community. It is through that same enthusiasm and pride that I look forward to becoming an integral part of the school community with my own family and working with each of you to continue the great successes at Eisenhower.
We have been working hard this summer to prepare for the upcoming school year and are all excited to begin what promises to be an amazing year. As your Principal, it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors- teachers, students, and parents- work together, feel welcome, and are excited to be here. This will enable us to meet the challenges of academic excellence as a strong school community.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, concerns, and ideas that you would like to discuss. My is door is always open and I welcome your input.
I look forward to working with you and your children!
Danielle Eikel
