3rd Sunday of Easter

“Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Simon Peter answered him, “Yes, Lord. You know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Tend my sheep.”

In our Easter joy, Jesus calls us serve others. We continue to celebrate with Easter Joy that Christ is Risen!!!

Please note that we have signed up our athletics club to participate in highway cleanup. This is a great event to raise funds for the club. Just know that the more participants that we have the faster we can finish! We have signed up for the area of Highway 16, east of Vegreville. Again, we will try to complete as many kilometers as possible, however, we expect to be done after 3 hours.

Remember – participating on Saturday will give you checkmarks for next year’s athletic club participation. We would also encourage any parents that would like to participate.

Be at the school for 8:45 am as we need to take the bus to the area, we are cleaning. We will watch a short safety video and get your reflective vests. We will be done around 12:00pm and meet for a few snacks and go.

Appropriate footwear – remember the ditches may be wet so rubber boots is a great idea

Dress in layers as temperatures can fluctuate

Gloves – do not forget gloves!

Bring water that you are able to carry with you.
