Curriculum Update

ELA-Next week in ELA, the students will be completing their final reading grade, Cold Read 11. This test will be given Wednesday. They will also complete their final word study summative assessment covering homographs on Friday. We will explore cursive handwriting as well as continue working on autobiographies. The FrontRow topic in reading and writing next week is Cotton Candy! Both assignments are due Friday.

Math- In math, we will review coordinate graphing and decimals before taking a daily grade on Wednesday. We will continue to review all skills learned this year in preparation for the final round of district assessments the week of the 16th.

Social Studies-In social studies, we will continue to review content from earlier in the year to prep for the district assessment. We will have a daily grade covering our review of events surrounding the turn of the century through the Great Depression. That daily grade is on Thursday.

Science- In science next week, we will continue reviewing science content for a cumulative test that does count as a test grade. The test is May 13th. There is a Google Slides presentation on our eClass page that the students can use to review for this test and the district assessment the week of the 16th.
