Additional announcements
MAP Testing
A couple of weeks ago we shared that the schedule for winter MAP testing would be forthcoming. S. Somerall has create one two lessons (one shared reading lesson and and separate whole class mini lesson to prepare students for winter testing. I highly recommend consideration and use of both.
Below you will find the two lessons from Sally followed by testing schedules. We have identified students that require either small group testing or oral administration for math MAP.
Members of the instructional team will meet this week to organize winter MAP small group testing. We will also assign faculty and staff that will be needed to assist to include location and timing small group testing.
We believe this process will allows us avoid challenges experienced during fall MAP testing. Details about MAP small group testing will be included in next Sunday's week ahead memo. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
