PARCC and NECAP Testing Updates:
A full breakfast will be offered to all students who are participating in a morning testing session. Following a grade level breakfast social, students will get some exercise before testing begins.
A mint will be offered to each student to help them to stay focussed on the assessment. There is research that shows the benefits of peppermint oil.
We are encouraging all 3rd and 4th grade students to bring in a Shining Moment Photo of themselves when they persevered and accomplished something great! Students will keep these next to them during testing as a reminder of how they can persevere!
Some examples might be: Riding a bike, Jumping off the diving board, Catching a fish, Finishing a long chapter book Doing a cartwheel, Earning a medal or an award.
PLEASE SEND YOUR 3RD OR 4TH GRADER IN WITH THEIR PHOTO ON MONDAY, 4/24.
Parent Drop Off/Pick Up is behind the school only when buses are out front!
Parent Drop Off/Pick Up is located behind the school in the cafeteria. Please park in the small lot and walk your child to the blue door.

Each parent/guardian requesting transportation services to and/or from a Chariho school, so long as the requirements of I.A. above are met, must register in accord with guidelines established by the Superintendent of Schools. Parents/Guardians of students who attend private schools located in one of the member towns must register as if the student attended a Chariho school; all elements of this policy shall apply. Parents/Guardians of students who attend private schools within Chariho’s transportation region (Region 4), but outside of the District, must register for transportation with the Statewide Student Transportation System.
Approve of transportation requests will be rescinded when a student does not utilize transportation services for ten (10) consecutive days if there is no notification with reasonable explanation to the transportation provider.
