NOTE: Important parent information


  • If you can not make it to the school during your scheduled window, you MUST make arrangements with Patti Atchley for another time slot.

  • If you are an 8th grade student or a student who is not returning to Desert Mountain School and you checked out a district chrome book, please return the chrome book at this time. All other students, please keep your chrome book until you return to school next year.

  • If you have an 8th grade student, they will receive their promotion certificate, celebration gift, any awards they may have earned.

  • If you have other items to pick up such as sports equipment, personal band instruments, or medication, please let the teacher or nurse know so they can gather the items and bag them with classroom items.

  • If you have items to drop off to the school such as library books, curriculum books, band instruments, athletic uniforms, classroom library books, please put all returned items in a bag, label the bag with student name, teacher, and the contents of the bag.

  • You will drive up to the front office parking lot, near the outside cafeteria door, and student classroom items will be hand delivered to the car. At this time, we have not received spring pictures or yearbooks. If they came in before May 20th, we will add them to your student items if you ordered either. The runner will also retrieve any returned items. All families must remain in the car at all times.

  • Parent pick-up of items is scheduled for May 20th and the 21st from 11:00 to 4:00 p.m. - Please see the schedule below: You may arrive at any time within your scheduled window of time.
    1. Pre-School - 11:00-12:00 May 20, 2020

    2. Kindergarten - 12:00 - 1:00 May 20, 2020

    3. 1st - 1:00 - 2:00 May 20, 2020

    4. 2nd - 2:00 - 3:00 May 20, 2020

    5. 3rd - 3:00 - 4:00 May 20, 2020

    6. 4th - 11:00 - 12:00 May 21, 2020

    7. 5th - 12:00 - 1:00 May 21, 2020

    8. 6th - 1:00 - 2:00 May 21, 2020

    9. 7th - 2:00 - 4:00 May 21, 2020

    10. 8th - 4:00- 5:00 May 21, 2020

**Families with multiple students may choose one date and time to retrieve all of their

students’ items. If you have an 8th grade student, we recommend that you choose

the 8th grade time slot.

**If you are unable to retrieve items on your schedule date and time, please contact

patti.atchley@dvusd.org to make alternative arrangements.
