Distance Learning Updates for the Week of May 11
Principal's Message
Dear Wolfsville Community,
Many occasions and holidays have past while we are away from school. I hope you and your family are taking time to enjoy these moments and time together doing things you enjoy!
Last week, for Staff Appreciation week, our PTA and many of you found creative ways to celebrate the wonderful staff at Wolfsville. However, we also would like to acknowledge and celebrate many of you who are serving as our 'at-home' teachers. We know it isn't easy to become your child's facilitator of learning in a blink of an eye, while juggling other responsibilities. Please know we could not successfully deliver distance learning without you- so we also celebrate you and your tremendous efforts!
Thank you and keep up the good work. Together we will rise !
Yours in Education,
Megan Stein, Principal

Reflections Update
The PTA would like to acknowledge and celebrate our student artists who participated in the Reflections program. They will be hosting a Virtual Gallery and award recognition, to be launched on Wednesday, May 13th. Please check the Frederick County PTA website, http://frederickpta.org/reflections, on that date to access the Gala.
Your entries will be returned to the school as soon as safety precautions are changed or lifted for pick-up.
Covid-19 Masks
Are you in need of a mask? Our own Ms. Miller has been sewing away and has offered her talents to our community. If you are interested in a mask contact Dori Miller at dorinda.miller@fcps.org.
We understand it may be difficult for young children to understand the recent directives to wear masks. The social story below explains it in kid-friendly language to help our students understand while easing anxiety.
