Yearbooks are now on sale!
Yearbooks are on sale NOW! The cost is $35.00, only $5.00 more with your student's name. Price will increase on 2/18/23.
We currently have space in our yearbook for a few more ads. This is your chance to surprise your student with some words of encouragement for their year of accomplishment. Don't forget to ask a family member, friend, grandparents, co-workers, or neighbors if they would like to buy an ad. Ads can be purchased through the yearbook order site and are completely customizable.
Also, do you have some amazing photos of your student(s) from trips over the Summer or Winter break? We are currently looking for more photos of our students' travels to add to our yearbook. Please note, picture submission does not guarantee placement into the book. Please email photos to Lela Talley by 2/15/23:
Thank you for your continued support with the LVMS yearbook program!
Notes From The Office
If you are going to drop off anything for your student, it can only be for your student. Please don't bring Starbucks for friends, pizza for friends, etc. The main reason is safety - food allergies are not something we talk regularly about, but the consequences are extremely serious. Any food deliveries will only be given during the student's lunch hour.
Also, if possible, please pick up your students up BEFORE their lunchtime and Athletic/PE periods. It takes a long time for your student to get back up from Athletics, Lunch or PE, so please help us with that.
Finally - we are running short on Kleenex! If you would like to donate any Kleenex, please bring them by the front office. Thank you!
Absences - If your child is absent due to illness/doctor appointments, please remember to send a note to excuse your child. You may send an email with a note or a copy of the doc note to - tharkins@lagovistaisd.net in a timely manner.

Construction Update
News From Nurse Carmichael...
For all my families who need specialized diets, this is a wonderful new tool
I found from FARE.
FARE is the site most used by families with allergy concerns but this new tool
helps anyone looking for help choosing the foods that are right for them.
(Vegan, Gluten free, Keto, FODMAP, Mediterranean, you name it... Also what
foods to avoid if on certain medications.)
While it does promote foods by certain manufacturers, it is very instructive
in general as you learn about foods that fit and foods that don't. You still need
to be a careful label reader.
