Acultural Pilgrimage

New York

New York, New York. There is a lot to see in the big city. Different exhibits and attractions. My goal is to visit as many as I can but also enjoy the fact that I am in such a illuminated city

How do I get there

To get to New York, I will be taking an American Airlines plane. The duration of the flight is 3 hours and 30 minutes. The flight departs from DFW airport at exactly 7:00 AM and it arrives at NYC airport at 11:25 AM. I think it is better to book an earlier flight so that when you arrive in the big apple, you will make the most of they day.

The fee of the flight alone is $420.00. The cost of the hotel for 6 nights alone is $1,662.00. Seeing as how that is already almost 3,000 dollars and would have much for food and sighseeing, I went on orbitz and found a great vacation deal. It gives me a cheaper flight, an extra night at the hotel, AND a city explorer pass that allows me to see 3 attractions, all for 2023.31. That gives me about a $200.00 range for meals, $40.00 for souvenirs, and $40.00 for cabs to take me places.

New York Hilton Midtown

The hotel that I will be staying at is the NY Hilton in midtown New York. This hotel is air conditioned, has a bar/lounge, a fitness center and a restaurant. It also has a spa, no smoking rooms, and wireless internet connection

Statue Of Liberty/ Ellis Island

How could you not stop at the statue of liberty while youre in New York?! Well there is obviously no way! Thanks to my city explorer pass I will have the opportunity to visit Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty

Empire Sate Building

Also with my city explorer pass I will have the opportunity to visit the empire state building. The Empire state bulding is a 102-story skyscraper located in Midtown, New York City.

Titanic; the artifact exhibition

On April 15, 1912, the world's largest ship, sank after colliding with an iceberg, claiming more than 1,500 lives and shaking the world's confidence in the infallibility of modern technology. Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition. It is an unprecedented opportunity to travel back in time and experience the wonder and tragedy of this ill-fated Ship.
