Elkhorn Middle School Newsletter
August 2023
Message from the Principal
Dear Elkhorn Middle School Students and Families,
I hope this newsletter finds you relaxed and ready to jump into the 23/24 school year on August 15th! This time of year is full of energy and excitement for me - I really look forward to having staff and students back in the building. We’ve been hard at work these last few weeks putting the final details on plans for a year that, again, will be focused on growth and learning The Antler Way.
Please take a close look at the information in this newsletter. Note that our school newsletters all year long are available on the EMS website > About Tab > Newsletter. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the office at 402-289-2428 or email the office at EMS@epsne.org.
Antlers UP!

Booster Club
Elkhorn Middle School Boosters are excited to welcome students and staff back to school. It's an exciting time to be an Antler.
Our goal as EMS Boosters is to support students, staff, and the community. In order to do that we need your help. If you would like more information about what we do please complete this form to be added to our email list.
In the meantime, we need concession stand volunteers. In order to support the school we sell concessions. Our busiest time is the fall season because we have football and volleyball concessions.
Working just one concession time is a great way to get involved. We have a list of instructions and can walk you through the process. If you have high school students needing volunteer hours or need to have your children with you to volunteer that is great.
Concession stands are usually open from 3:45-5:45, and ideally, we need two people at each concession to make them work. Please check out the signup to find a time that works for you.
Thank you!
Don't forget to order your Antler gear. Apparel orders are due by Sunday, August 20th at 11:59 pm. Your order will be delivered to your student at school. Orders are usually ready within about three weeks of the deadline. Click on this link to go to the EMS store to place your order.
If you have any questions or ideas for the new school year please reach out to us at emsboosterclubelkhorn@gmail.com.
