Some standard dishes in Costa Rica are the comida tipica (black beans and rice), tortilla eaten typically 3 times a day with eggs, meat, chicken, or cheese with chayote salad or stew. And common beverages are coffee, sugary fruit drinks, soda, and along with those is alcohol.
