For the 400th anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare will be held a theatrical performance dedicated to Romeo and Juliet.

It was designed by Elizabeth Scott and the godfather was the Prince of Wales.

Stratford has Anglo-Saxon origins, and grew as a trading center in the Middle Ages.
It is anEnglish town located on the banks of the River Avon in the West Midlands.

What is it about this opera?

Romeo Montague met Juliet Capulet at a party.
They dell in love and decided to marry but there was a problem : the Montague family hated the Capulet family.
So,Romeo and Juliet married in secret.
Juliet's father wanted her to marry another man.
She was terribly unhappy and drank a sleeping potion.
A servant told Romeo the news. Romeo went to Juliet's house.
When he saw her,he told she was dead. He was really desperate.
He take some poison and died.
Then,when Juliet woke up and found Romeo dead,she killed herself.

Shakespeare was a great poet and playwright.
He was born in Stratford-upon-Avon on 23 April 1564.
He married Anne Hathaway and had three children.
He went to London and worked as an actor.
He died on 23 April 1616.
There are still a lot of things that we don't know about William.
