Grad Bash Info.
It’s almost time for Grad Bash!
This letter and the attached document will serve to give you very important information needed to attend Grad Bash Friday, April 22, 2023. Bring a form of ID with your name and picture. We will check these as you check in.
Transportation:
All attendees must be in front of the gym at 3:45pm on Saturday, April 22. Students will be searched prior to loading onto the bus. Buses will not be waiting for late arriving students, so you must be on time. You must travel on the bus. Per Universal Studios Grad Bash regulations, no student can drive him- or herself. You will receive your ticket and armbands on the bus. Many schools will be attending Grad Bash the same time as WCHS. All Pasco County-approved vendors are sold out the night of April 22. Therefore, we will be travelling via school busses. If you need to have a parent drive you or pick you up for special circumstances, your request MUST be pre-approved by Universal Studios no later than Friday, April 7. See Mrs. Johnston for the form that must be completed by your parents and sent to Universal Studios no later than April 7.
Leaving the PARK:
Students will meet at 2:10 at a designated area that will be communicated while you are on the bus (I have not received notification from Universal of this exit gate yet). We will walk directly to the busses at 2:20am. Please get to the busses as quickly as possible so we can depart. We will be arriving home approximately 3:45 am.
Additional Information to Know:
· If you have a Parent Permission Form attached, you MUST get this completed and turned into Mrs. Johnston in room 419 before April 21 or you will not be allowed on the busses.
· You must abide by the Universal event dress code (attached to this document) and codes of conduct.
· You will be checked before getting on the bus and again at Universal Studios for dress code and prohibited items.
· If you have prescription medication that must be taken while at Grad Bash, you must have the prescription in its original prescription container and only the dosage needed for your visit is allowed. Your name must be printed on the label and a valid picture ID is required. Also, you may carry inhalers, EpiPens, insulin and other necessary medications, but proper prescription documentation is required.
· All unauthorized items will be confiscated by Security.
Chaperones will not allow you to get on the bus out of dress code. If you have a doubt regarding what you are going to wear or any other questions, please see Mrs. Johnston.
Lastly, you must ride to and return from Universal on your assigned bus – NO changing buses on the return trip. We will not leave until every student is accounted for and on their assigned bus.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Johnston, Class of 2023 Sponsor
